Delete your Kansensus account
Delete your account in the app
Open Account (also available from Settings), choose Delete account, and confirm the request. The app sends the request directly to Kansensus and signs you out after the service accepts it.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email:
Include:
- Your Kansensus handle and the email associated with your sign-in provider
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
We will verify and process web deletion requests within 30 days.
Data affected by deletion
Once deletion processing is complete:
- Your account access and profile will be removed
- Your posts, polls, votes, comments, messages, and uploaded media that are eligible for deletion will be removed
- You will not be able to recover or sign back in to the deleted account
Limited retention: Some records may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or abuse-investigation purposes. Kansensus does not promise that every record can be erased immediately.
