These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kansensus mobile application operated by Kansensus Inc. ("we," "us," "our").
By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 17 years old to use the app.
You are responsible for:
Kansensus records how the app is used and when it fails. We do this for two reasons only: to detect crashes and errors so we can fix them, and to understand which parts of the app work well and which do not, so we can improve it. We do not collect this data for its own sake, and we do not sell it.
We use two service providers for this: PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for crash reporting. What they receive is technical: the screens you open, the actions you take, how long things take, your device type and operating system, the app version, and, when something goes wrong, a report of the error. They receive an identifier that is not your name, email address or account identifier, and we do not send them what you post, write, or vote for.
By using the app you agree to this. Analytics and crash reporting are on by default, because they are part of how the app is operated and improved. You can turn them off at any time in Settings, under Privacy, on both iPhone and Android; turning them off stops both straight away and asks PostHog to delete what is linked to you. If you delete your account, the analytics identifier and the data linked to it are deleted from PostHog as part of account deletion. Crash reports are kept by Sentry for a limited period (90 days) and then deleted automatically. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
You may use the app to watch and publish media, create Talk posts and voice posts, create polls and vote, comment, and exchange recipient-scoped Chat messages. You may not:
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app.
Contribution points record verified participation within Kansensus today. They are not currently equity, stock, money, a token, or a present investment, and they cannot be bought, sold, transferred, redeemed, or exchanged for cash. They do not change voting outcomes, feed reach, moderation, eligibility, or governance.
Kansensus allocates 100% of company shares to users. No company shares are reserved for the founder or investors. Verified contribution points determine each user's portion of those user shares.
Shares are not issued to user accounts today. When share issuance begins, separate terms and disclosures will explain the legal process, timing, valuation, liquidity, and tax treatment. See the Contribution Points Policy for the current calculation and review process.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
